Who We Are
Metropolitan Executive Dogs is a family-owned-and-operated company. Since 1978, we have developed our skills and relationship with dogs. In 2003, we took that knowledge one step further. We opened Metropolitan Executive Dogs to help others around us.
Not only do we sell beautiful, intelligent dogs with top-quality characteristics, but we also provide superior protection dog training services.
We also breed beautiful German Shepherd puppies and Belgian Malinois puppies.
We offer the knowledge and care you will not find anywhere else.

President & Founder
The head of Metropolitan Executive Dogs, Inc is Mrs. Sabine Ernsting. She started her career in 1991 in Germany. Years of studying the Belgian Malinois and the German Shepherd Dog bloodlines, both in Europe and the United States, have led her to an understanding of how to breed the best dogs for sport, police work, agility, conformation, and companionship.
As the head of Metropolitan Executive dogs her training skills are excellent.
She also became a Master Groomer and graduated from the Maryland School of Dog Grooming in 1998.

Mr. Ernsting started his career in 1978 in Germany. Since 1993 Mr. Ernsting held numerous seminars and training clinics. His ability to read a dog and his ability to teach at the same time are to be found. Mr. Ernsting developed his unique training method MCM studying dogs in Germany and other European Countries, like Denmark, Holland and Belgium. He trained multiple dogs in Schutzhund, Police Canine, Army Patrol Dogs and Detection Dogs.
Mr. Ernsting’s passion is the research and study of the genetic instincts of the dog. He found a way to transfer this knowledge into training dogs which results in a more willingly working animal.

Mr. Yannick Ernsting started his career in 2008. Growing up around highly trained police, sport and executive dogs and combined with the expertise of Hardy and Sabine Ernsting provided, showed him a world he had never thought of before. Graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, and entered the world of Automotive Sales. He guided his clients to finding what would make them and their families happy. In 2021 he started working at the family business Metropolitan Executive Dogs to further his career, taking the skills he had acquired to help out clients and dogs alike.
